Meijer and the Stars Support Back to School Backpack Packing
Meijer partnered with Chicago Stars Camps & Clinics to pack 150 backpacks for local schoolchildren in need. Participants in the camp - along with Stars staff and Stars defender Hannah Anderson - packed 150 backpacks with folders, notebooks, markers, glue sticks and more, totaling $50 in school supplies per backpack. Each backpack helped mitigate the prohibitive costs of school supplies for families in Chicago.
