Chicago Stars FC Hosts Second Future Stars Fest
Chicago Stars FC hosted the second of three free community clinics for local girls at the Montrose Beach portion of Lincoln Park along the lakefront. The second iteration of Future Stars Fest welcomed youth from community groups across the city to participate in soccer scrimmages, practice soccer skills, meet representatives from other local sports teams, paint a tifo for an upcoming match and meet Stars players. From 3D printing with the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry to receiving pointers on their dribbling from Stars players, participants had a variety of opportunities to engage in active learning and play.
